  Recently started loving thrift shopping at random & finding random knick knacks. However this value village has the most out of tune appraisal system of any thrift store I have encountered. Because an item was 19.99 5 years ago doesn't mean it's worth $14.99 now... it is second owned and has depreciated heavily in value. I have provided an example of a pre owned dollar store dog toy which goes here for 4.99. One of the overpriced or items priced near their new retail value at this store. Please fix these ridiculous prices.

  Possibly the most over priced Value Village Ive visited. I love thrifting and stop in to every thrift store I see. Im used to taking a risk on used products as the price is usually amazing..after all, the stores operate on donations and pay next to nothing if anything at all. In my region there are 4 Value Villages, and somehow they all have different price points..this location on Sportsworld drive in Kitchener is far and above the most expensive. Examples include disney VHS movies for $19.99, a Sailor Moon bootleg dvd for $34.99 or just about any scratched Videogame for $9.99 lowest.. Theres an EB Games one plaza over and nearly everytime they can beat the Village price. This is the first thrift store Ive started to avoid. I will say the store is reasonably clean (bathrooms included), staff is friendly(until you question a price) and like most locations is wheelchair accessible. So I guess if you like big, clean, accessible stores full of horribly over priced items they aquired for almost nothing, then this is the place for you...All others should stay away, maybe then theyll lower their prices to that of other locations.
